Larry Stevens is our registered lobbyist. His role is to communicate our input to elected officials. He also coordinates the funds for the USA (United Subcontractors Association), Political Action Committee (PAC) to which NECA and WICA also belong. Larry is available to answer questions about any legislative activity and he calls on our members to provide input and testimony to support our values. Contact him at 253-380-2354.

Ed Kommers is a liaison between members and Larry Stevens as a “first line of defense”. As a former mechanical contractor, Ed summarizes our positions to support Larry Stevens. Ed often requests input from MCA members to learn more about current issues and problems and also represents our organization on many committees and boards. Contact him at 206-612-7304.

Attorney Arne Hedeen provides us with valuable input and language on many legislative issues.

Jerry Bush, President of University Mechanical Contractors, Inc., is the Chair of our Legislative Committee and leads us in setting the priorities for our legislative efforts.

Mike Shinn, President of Shinn Mechanical, is on our Legislative Committee and is also a member of the CPARB Project Review Committee (PRC).
