Educational Programs
The CMPM Program consists of 3 levels for entry-level, intermediate and experienced project managers. Designed specifically for mechanical project managers, these unique programs are taught by industry experts and carefully selected consultants and facilitators who understand the issues that our project managers face on a daily basis. All three levels of the CMPM program are activity-based so that project managers can immediately apply the concepts learned in their daily work.
Service Project Manager Programs are designed for service project managers and service support staff who are focused on short-term, owner-direct projects. The core program, SPM-1, is a 6-week program covering a range of topics beneficial to service personnel. Service programs also include 1-day seminars and workshops that cover a variety of service topics.
The Technical Training Series is comprised of HVAC, Plumbing, Coordination/Close-out and Welding programs.
The programs in the technical series are designed to provide project managers with a basic understanding of technical concepts so that they can better communicate with technical experts on their projects.
MCAWW is providing Management Training for 5th Year Apprentices enrolled in the Local 32 and Local 26 JATC Apprenticeship Programs. The six-module program, taught by industry experts, provides apprentices with knowledge about the business side of the industry and fosters stronger relationships and better communication between the field and the office.
MCAWW also offers a Foreman Training Program designed specifically for foremen on mechanical projects.
MCAWW periodically offers seminars and workshops on a wide variety of industry-related topics.
