The MCAWW Academic Relations Committee, on behalf of MCA of Western Washington, is proud to announce the annual MCAWW Scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage promising students to explore a career in the mechanical contracting industry.
Three scholarship awards, each consisting of a cash award and an expense paid trip to the MCAA Convention, are available to eligible students who meet the following criteria:
- Must be a full-time student with major in construction management, mechanical engineering or other related field
- Must have interest in commercial mechanical industry employment
- Must be willing to serve internship with MCAWW member contractor
- Must be a member of MCAWW student chapter
- Must attend the MCAA National Convention
Each scholarship award will consist of:
- Cash award of $500
- Airfare & hotel expense paid trip to Mechanical Contractors Association of America National Convention

The MCAWW Academic Relations Committee is offering up to two $3,000 tuition scholarships.
To apply, you must meet all the requirements listed above as well as:
- Complete the entire MCAWW undergraduate scholarship application and comply with all requisites within.
- Submit a one- to two-page essay (Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1” margins, 1.5 line spacing) as to why you are interested in mechanical contracting.
- Maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Remain enrolled in the Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related program for the duration of the scholarship.
- Fulfill a summer internship with a mechanical contractor.
