About MCA Western Washington

What is mechanical contracting? Imagine living or working in a building without heating, air conditioning or running water. Mechanical contractors perform Division 15 work, which can represent between 15% to over 50% of the total construction budget, making us one of the major subcontractors on a construction project. We are responsible for installing (and often designing and/or maintaining) heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, plumbing, insulation, controls and fire protection systems, ultimately ensuring the comfort, safety and well-being of the building occupants.

The Mechanical Contractors Association of Western Washington (MCAWW) proudly represents the most competent, professional and cutting-edge mechanical contractors in the nation. We provide our members with quality education as well as support and assistance with labor negotiations, safety and legislative issues. MCAWW member firms employ the highly skilled and trained workforce of the United Association of Plumbers & Pipefitters. Because our member firms leverage MCAWW resources, they provide an advanced level of service to their clients.
